Yet Another Mandelbrot Generator
by Steven Goodwin
Sorry folks, but I had to upload it! This generator is just class! Shame its
written in Amos - but at least its still quite fast.
I found this at my local comp club, and thought you'd like to see it. Its a PD
program that draws umpteen different fractals and does that colour cycling
thingy on it. It's got loads of editting facilities (and a workscreen) as well
and looks quite good.
I've LHAed the program, icons and documents (like Steven says) together with
the demo screens. On the original disc they were in a directory called 'Demos'
but I couldn't get LHA to keep them in such, so they'll unarch to your root.
There should be about 14 IFFs and mdata files (which hold the m/brot info) and
there's another 8 in the program itself. A nice touch I thought.
I've just got my 'registered users' disc back, with the source (and billions
of docs) so I'll recompile it with a 'set double precision' command. I've
contacting him at S.Goodwin1@lut.ac.uk and he says this is OK. I've got Amos
Pro +compiler - he hasn't.
Anyway, download, unarch and enjoy - I certainly did.
Matt.
